C-70 Award the Construction Contract to the low bidder meeting specifications for Group Toilet Facility at Bannerman Learning Center
Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2007-2008 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held June 5, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. The project had six (6) bidders. The low bid came in significantly over budget. The construction budget for this project was $200,000.00. Other options will be considered to provide group restrooms for this school.
Recommended Action
Reject all bids.
